What You Will Do:
Role Specific Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
Utilizes PACS and EMR systems
Performs interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures.
Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast Competency
Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position, exposure control, and radiation protection.
Performs office duties as needed.
Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.
What You Will Need:
Education
Associate degree
Licenses and Certification
ARRT Certification in Radiology
IEMA
BLS
Experience and Skills
Technical
Experience: 3 years
We need an interventional radiology special procedures tech. These are not general fluoro cases. The candidates will need lots of experience doing sterile procedures including GI bleeds, port insertions, fistulagrams, nephrostomy tube insertion/exchange/removal, tunnel dialysis cather insertion/exchange/removal, etc.
