Description
Identify and implement process/product improvements, prioritize, lead times to achieve business goal of cost reduction for improved performance.
Provide technical leadership for lean sigma methodology, vision and application. Coach and mentor associates throughout the organization the application of Lean Sigma tools. Coordinate, assist and arrange resources necessary to ensure timely project completion and overall process improvement results.
Scale up and support New Product Developments and Modifications to Products/Processes
Manufacturing troubleshooting for assigned Values Stream and overall plant metrics
Lead projects to ensure timely execution and sustain results through Operations buy-in and Lean Sigma tools implementation
Continually improve products' process capabilities thought implementation and promotion of automation & controls for Six Sigma Quality variation goal attainment.
Requirements
Must have a Bachelors degree in either Mechanical or Industrial Engineering curriculum with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
5-7 years of manufacturing experience
Experience in process driven, continuous operations
Experience leading high performance work teams
Demonstrated leadership skills
Experience with process control and new product introduction technologies
Proven project management skills
Strong record of Lean Sigma Tools implementationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
