Oversee the delivery of quality services and operations within the fiscal framework for Illinois with revenues of $28M. Provide oversight of sound operations, ongoing staff development, and the commitment to quality assurance to align with The MENTOR Network's mission and business goals.
Key
Responsibilities:
Ensure the individuals we serve are cared for with the utmost quality, attention, and respect.
Oversee development and implement state quality enhancement strategy and drive quality initiatives, coordinating Network standards, licensing requirements, and consideration for each individual's needs.
Maintain regional strategy to maintain compliance with Network and regulatory standards for clean, neat, and safe living and working environments; assure pleasant, well-decorated home-like residential living environments; and direct regional maintenance program.
Drive financial performance of each state; implement strategies to maximize revenue, attain operational efficiency and drive profitability; work in conjunction with financial personnel to maintain financial goals.
Develop strategies for maximizing growth within the states; implement business plans and marketing strategies to grow census and improve occupancy and utilization in core services; respond to local requests for proposals to address payor needs; implement strategies to anticipate new business opportunities; develop new starts; and identify potential acquisition partners.
Recruitand retain top talent; develop state and regional leadership teams; establishemployee orientation and training programs. Collaborating with Human Resources, oversee all employment issuesincluding hiring, employee engagement, training, employee relations,terminations and performance management.
Oversee state strategy and implementation of health and safety programs including consumer and employee protection. Direct medical and nursing services and supports. Oversee regional implementation of incident management protocol; ensure timely incident reporting and corrective action; review trends; develop responses; oversee investigations.
Implement Public Strategy Plan for the states; maintain and enhance state level relations with legislative and administrative officials, advocates, and trade associations; join and take a leadership role with state trade associations; and assist lobbyists or outside contractors.
Provideleadership including supervision of Regional Directors and regional supportteam; develop strategy for implementation of Network employee practices;oversee safety and workers' compensation implementation strategy.
Implement state licensing and compliance strategy; direct system for timely and accurate documentation; oversee implementation of Network compliance plan; review licensing orders; confirm timely and accurate documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Business or Human Services preferred
Minimum of 10 years' experience in rehabilitative services, ideally with Brain Injury
Minimum of 5 years' experience in supervision/management of teams
Strong leadership and influencing skills; build trust and effectively manage change
Exceptional people skills with an ability to establish rapport quickly with others
A commitment to quality and a passion for service
A demonstrated work ethic with an ability to multitask and juggle changing priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An ability to understand financials, work effectively with the finance team
